Two ways to give.
We have no registry in the traditional sense, but we do welcome two types of donation in celebration of our marriage.
First, we are accepting in-kind donations to make our China wedding happen in 2021.
Second, we want to share a couple charities that are important to us and our families, and invite you to donate to them directly.
Scroll down for more information on how to give! Any amount can make a difference. Thank you!
How you can contribute:
Get us to China.
You can contribute to our China wedding fund via personal check or to Miriam’s Venmo account with the message “China wedding”.
Should you need it, Miriam’s Venmo username is miriamcross (please note that Venmo payments can only be made via the Venmo mobile app.)
Donate to worthy charities.
We encourage you to explore and make a tax deductible donation to either of the below charities:
UNICEF
We met while working at a school and both feel a strong commitment to supporting education, particularly for young people affected by crisis and poverty across the global community.
Samaritans
Samaritans is a Boston-based suicide prevention initiative that provides crisis counseling and support.
Their website says it best: “When you donate to Samaritans, your generosity helps thousands of people find hope in the face of depression, loneliness, and grief. Your gift provides care, compassion, and support.” These donations would also be in loving memory of our cousin Daria Deshuk.
